Recap: The Gala 2025 — A Night We Will Not Forget
Two hundred women, one ballroom, and an evening that reminded us why we do this. Here is the full story of The Gala by Wowmen Group.
On December 7th, 200 women walked into Pullman Jakarta Central Park for The Gala by Wowmen Group — and walked out changed.
The evening opened with a performance by Wowmen member and indie artist Kirana Sari, who premiered a new song she wrote during a particularly difficult year. "This community was the reason I kept writing," she told the room. There was not a dry eye.
We honoured five Wowmen of the Year — members nominated by their peers for the ways they had shown up for the community in 2025: as mentors, as connectors, as honest friends, as builders.
Founder Alifa Hana Syahrani took the stage to close the evening. She did not read from notes. She spoke about the women who had shaped her, about the responsibility of building something that matters, about choosing depth over scale.
"We are not building a brand," she said. "We are building a home. And homes are only as strong as the people who choose to keep showing up."
The room gave a standing ovation. And then, as it always does at Gala night, the dancing started.
