Who we are

Wowmen Group is a women empowerment and sports club agency based in Jakarta, Indonesia. We are the controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us any time at hi@wowmengroup.com.

Information we collect

• Account details — your name and email when you register. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile (name and email).
• Order details — what you buy (tickets, merch), delivery information where relevant, and your order history.
• Payment data — payments are handled directly by Xendit, our payment provider. We never see or store your full card numbers or banking credentials; we only receive confirmation of the payment status.
• Technical data — basic information such as device type and IP address, used for security and to keep the service working.
• Communications — messages you send us, for example when you email support or contact us about an order.

How we use it

We use your information to fulfil orders, send transactional emails (such as order confirmations and event details), run our loyalty program, prevent fraud and keep the service secure, respond to your enquiries, and improve what we offer. We do not sell your data.

Legal basis

We process your data where it is necessary to provide a service you have asked for (fulfilling your orders and managing your account), where you have given consent (for example, optional marketing emails), where we have a legitimate interest (such as security and improving the service), and where we are required to by law. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Cookies

We only use essential cookies — to remember the items in your cart and to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, so no cookie-consent banner is needed. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though some features (like staying logged in) may stop working.

Service providers

We rely on trusted providers to run the service, and each handles your data under their own privacy terms:

• Xendit — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Cloudflare R2 — media and image storage
• Google — optional “Sign in with Google”
• Vercel — website hosting

International transfers

Some of our providers process data on servers outside Indonesia. Where that happens, we use reputable providers that apply appropriate safeguards to protect your information.

Data retention

We keep your personal data while your account is active and for as long as we need it to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and carefully chosen service providers. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, object to or restrict certain processing, request a copy of your data, or lodge a complaint with the relevant authority. To exercise any of these, email us at hi@wowmengroup.com.

Children

Our service is not directed to children under 13. If you are a minor, please use the service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
